Board Meetings

Board meetings are open to the public. Notice of and agenda for meetings of the Board of Education are posted on this web site at least  48 hours prior to the regular meetings and 24 hours prior to the special meetings. The Board meetings are held in the Board Room of the Washington County Board of Education central office located at Granade Street, Chatom, Alabama. Occasionally, Board meetings may be held at an announced location within the jurisdiction of the District.

Any person with disability who wishes to attend a public meeting and who require aids in order to participate in the public meeting, can contact the Superintendent's Office at (251) 847-2401 at least 48 hours prior to the public meeting to request any disability-related modification or accommodation, including auxiliary aids or services.
