Washington County Board of Education is seeking non-profit (Section 501(c)3) community organizations to partner with in providing effective programming for students at risk of school failure. In accordance with Alabama legislation, school systems will expend 20 percent of at-risk funds to partner with non-profit, non-governmental community organizations in planning and implementing programs for at-risk students which will directly assist in improving academic performance. Interested organizations should contact Dr. Barbara H. Waite at 251/847-2401, Ext. 227 to receive application information. Applications will be accepted through September 3,2010.
